Daniel Drubach, M.D. was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and lived through the military dictatorship there from 1976 to 1981, an experience that became a powerful influence on his subsequent writing. He returned to the United States in 1982. A neurologist as well as a psychiatrist, Daniel’s special interest is the relationship between the neurosciences and spirituality. Several of Daniel’s stories have been published in literary journals, and he was awarded the Caminos award by the Universidad del Salvador for The Man With No Arms,” one of the stories in the present volume.
