Sexuality Law

During the past fifty years, legal issues arising from the sexual diversity of our society have moved front and center in many fields, including constitutional law, domestic relations, employment law, and civil rights law. This book provides the basis for a survey course about how lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgendered persons, and others whose sexual expression differs from the majoritarian norm confront the law, and how the law responds to them. Although the focus is on United States law, references are made at appropriate points to legal developments in other countries.
