Inventory of Marriage and Family Literature

The Inventory provides the only systematic index of current English language periodical publications on marriage and the family. Volume XI lists over 3,200 articles (from 1984) from approximately 750 journals in a wide variety of disciplines. An introductory overview highlights major current trends in family studies, and three indexing systems list articles by author, subject and key word in the title. 'If David Olson had done nothing else, his contribution as the continuing senior co-editor of the Inventory would earn him an honored place in the hall of fame of family scholars.
