Gave very detailed descriptions of the workings of the human body with a direct effect of the psychological side of things. The most useful thing would probably be the circadian rhythm information. Always good to know more and more about sleep patterns and how they can be altered.

The end chapter summaries were of extreme help, as this book was very detailed and needed some sort of outline, which the summaries gave.

There were a lot of examples that were explained. Every topic was accompanied by the real life instances that brought about the research.

I learned about the brain, how it works, how certain things effect it, and diseases of it.

The most interesting thing I learned about in this book was Schizophrenia!

The most useful feature was the "Stop & Check" which was the section that was stopped and checked to see if you were understanding what you were reading.

Very well actually. It was very informative, I found the subject very interesting.

I learned a lot about how the mind works. Although there were some portions I found confusing, it was only because I have a tendency to ove rread things

I learned about the different parts of the brains. How in each part of the brain the chemicals can react within each other. It was a great book to see and also read how th chemicals can make a personality different or not.

The pictures to help with the understanding of what is being explained in the book. That was helpful, because words can only get you so far. The pictures helped to break down the hard information.

The primary subject of this book is based onPhysiological processes of the mind.

I would probably change nothing about this book but as technology and life changes the information will need to be updated too.

The diagrams provided really helped me understand the material

The structure of the brain cells. Also the learning how cells polarize was interesting. The diagrams really make it interesting and easy to understand

I learned a lot of useful information from this book. It is set up in a very colloquial style so the information is easy to grab and the text is not painful to read.

You learn about the different biological explanations of behavior; physiological, functional, ontogentic, and evolutionary explanations. There is a heavy focus on genetics and how they can influence behavior.

This book was very interesting. I bought and have kept it for personal interest. It really describes in details how neurons work. And the author is funny.

The response of the nervous system and the way that neurons behave.
