Tom Wishon is a 32-year veteran of the golf equipment industry specializing in clubhead design, shaft design and analysis, and clubfitting research and development. He is the only designer from the custom clubmaking side of the golf industry whose clubhead designs have been used to win on the PGA Tour, Champions Tour, and the Ryder Cup. He has contributed over 40 different design "firsts" to the golf industry, including the first titanium woodheads offered by a U.S. golf company. He has written 5 books and over 200 magazine articles on clubmaking technology and is a 10-year member of the Golf Digest magazine Technical Panel. Tom also serves as the Technical Advisor to the PGA of America's Web site, www.pga.com, where he writes a monthly column on golf equipment information. In addition to having been a fulltime golf club-maker for almost 10 years, Tom Grundner was selected to the first class in The GolfWork's prestigious Masters Program.
