Tears of the Redeemed

Born in Williston North Dakota on May 20 1952. David Arnold grew up loving to go fishing with his dad. At the age of eight David's parents moved to Ft. Benton Montana. There he entered the third grade and graduated from Ft. Benton High School. During those nine years of his childhood he spent numerous summers in the mountains of Montana with his dad. They would spend their summers mining for gold on a claim near Helena Montana. In the evenings both David and his dad could be found setting on the bank of a rushing stream catching trout to pan fry for their evening meal.Although the book Skelly Gulch is fiction, Skelly Gulch is an actual place, located thirty miles Northwest of Helena.
