Dana E. Stewart earned her B.A. in French from the University of Southern California and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Italian from Stanford. She is currently Associate Professor of Italian, Acting Faculty Director of Women's Studies, and Fellow of the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies at the State University of New York at Binghamton.
