Rebecca Joyce Frey is a professional editor and writer. She earned a B.A. in history from Mount Holyoke College and M.Div. and S.T.M. degrees, as well as a Ph.D. in the history of Christian doctrine, from Yale University. She is the author of Fundamentalism in Facts On File's Global Issues series. Foreword author Dori Laub, M.D., is a clinical professor of psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine and a psychoanalyst in private practice. In 1979 he was the confounder of the Holocaust Survivors' Film Project, which subsequently became the Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies at Yale. He is cofounder of the International Study Group for Trauma, Violence, and Genocide and deputy director for trauma research at the Yale Genocide Studies Program.
