John Wallhausser is Professor of Philosophy and Religion emeritus at Berea College. He is the author of a variety of essays on Schleiermacher's ethics and the translator of Martin Redeker's Friedrich Schleiermacher: Life and Thought In 1997, philosopher-historian Terrence N. Tice became Professor Emeritus at the University of Michigan to devote time largely to writing and editing.
