He and illustrator Jan Sovak have worked together before, writing and illustrating Dinosaurs to Dodos: An Encyclopedia of Extinct Animals. Mr. Lessem has written and hosted NOVA and Discovery Channel documentaries and served as an advisor to the Jurassic Park and Disney movies and theme parks. He is the founder of the largest charitable organization for dinosaur research and creator of many traveling exhibitions, including The Dinosaurs of Jurassic Park. Mr. Lessem has traveled from Argentina to Mongolia in search of dinosaurs.
