A Kid's Guide to Washington, D.C

After more than ten years working in corporate marketing in New York, Miriam Chernick moved to Washington D.C. and in 2004 began writing books for children. She thoroughly enjoyed exploring the city and conducting research for the recently published A Kid's Guide to Washington, D.C. (Harcourt, 2008) Born in Paris and having traveled extensively since then, Miriam has been strongly influenced by her cross-cultural experiences. Currently, Miriam is working on a novel based on the years she lived in Japan.Miriam received a B.S. in Japanese from Georgetown University and a Masters Degree in Asian Studies from Yale University.
