In 1996, he was selected by AV Video/Multimedia Producer for a Top 100 Multimedia Producers” award, and in 1994 won the Outstanding Scientist Award from the Missouri Alliance for the Mentally Ill. Dr. Epstein is the author of numerous scientific articles and several interactive multimedia programs designed to teach young people about substance abuse.
