ohn M. Scheb II, Ph.D., University of Tennessee, Knoxville John M. Scheb II received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 1982. Since then, he has been a member of the political science faculty at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Professor Scheb?s primary interest is public law, which includes constitutional law, administrative law, and criminal law and procedure. His secondary interest is public opinion. Professor Scheb has been involved in numerous survey research projects for government agencies, political candidates, and private businesses. He is the coauthor of Criminal Law and Procedure, 4th edition (Wadsworth, 2001) and, with Otis H. Stephens, Jr., of American Constitutional Law, 3rd edition (Wadsworth 2002). He is also the coauthor, with William Lyons and Billy Stair, of Government and Politics in Tennessee (University of Tennessee Press 2002). Professor Scheb?s research has been published in a number of professional journals, including Journal of Politics, American Politics Quarterly, Social Science Quarterly, Political Behavior, Law and Policy, Tennessee Law Review, Judicature, and State and Local Government Review.
