Adventures of Dougal Mcdougal

Dougal McDougal is a young boy living in Scotland in the 14th century. One day he wanders into the forest where he meets a boy named Tiki who comes from another world in the 5th Galaxy. They become good friends, and after a frightening encounter, befriend a bear called Old Scratcher. The 3 new friends set off on their adventure in Tiki's Time Traveller to rescue Dougal's mother who has been kidnapped by a gang of marauding Vikings. Along the way, they meet a dragon monster, The Deil's Dog, who turns out to be different than what you'd expect. They have a secret weapon with which to attack the Vikings... The story continues, and we find our 3 friends trying to trace Tiki's brother, Toki. He came from the 5th Galaxy on a mission to find Tiki and take him home. Along the way, he encounters problems with his Time Traveller resulting in him getting lost, being scared half to death by giant sea serpents and taken prisoner by angry clansmen. He is held captive in a large castle that is surrounded by a deep gully. Will Tiki ever find his brother?
