Story of My Life

Emmerson G. Donald knows from his personal experience how emotional scars from child abuse never heal. Jamaican by birth, he grew up in a rural parish of Jamaica. Child abuse is 'something he experienced personally, at the hands of his stepfather, biological father and stepmother.' It is his desire that The Story of My Life will reach a wide readership. While writing the book, his intention was to open the eyes of those who read it, so they will understand the impact and epidemic of child abuse. Achieving a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the West Indies in 2000, he was recruited by the Bermuda Police Service and serves the law-enforcement organisation well as a detective constable in its criminal investigations department.
