Spring Creeks

Mike Lawson opened the fly shop Henry's Fork Anglers in 1977. Starting in 1986, he gave seminars with Jack Dennis and Gary LaFontaine as the Traveling Fly Fishermen, and he is a regular at fly-fishing shows throughout the West. He has written articles and provided photos for Fly Fisherman, Fly Fishing for Trout, Flyfisher, Trout Magazine, and American Angler, and has appeared in the fly-fishing videos Lawson serves on the pro-staff of Sage, Action Optics, Scientific Anglers, Columbia Sportswear, and several other companies. As one of the founding members of the Henry's Fork Foundation, a board member of the Jackson One Fly Foundation, and a member of Trout Unlimited, the Teton Regional Land Trust, the Nature Conservancy, and a life-member of the Federation of Fly Fishers, he is also an active conservationist. He and his wife Sheralee began tying flies commercially in 1973. They have two sons, Shaun and Christopher, and one daughter, Jeanette, and live in St. Anthony, IdahoLawson, Mike is the author of 'Spring Creeks', published 2003 under ISBN 9780811700689 and ISBN 0811700682.
