Produced by the British Admiralty Intelligence Department just after the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905) as a confidential document, this volume contains the reports of British officers assigned to this conflict from February 1904 to the Battle of the Sea of Japan in 1905. Many of the reports come from Captain Pakeham R. N., a well known British naval officer of that period. All of the major fleet actions are covered to include the blockade of Port Arthur, the raid of the Vladivostok Squadron, the fleet action of 10 August, Japanese torpedo boat attacks and the final defeat of the Russian Navy in Japanese waters. The appendice provide losses of war vessels up to the end of the war.
