G.B. Manelis graduated from Tashkent University, former USSR, in 1953. His research interests include chemical physics, combustion and explosion and he has published extensively in these fields G.M. Nazin, Yu. I. Rubtsov and V.A. Strunin all graduated from Moscow State University. Their research interests include the kinetics of chemical reactions, the kinetics and thermodynamics of chemical processes, and combustion and chemical processes, respectively. All four authors are currently affiliated to the Institute of Problems of Chemical Physics of the Russian Academy of SciencesManelis, G.
