Cat Sauer spent most of her career in writing and design production, primarily for the hotel industry. She then turned her love of storytelling into a "project" and developed this series of stories entitled "Brown Bag Bedtime Books." Her goal was to create something warm, old fashioned and endearing, much the way stories used to be. She also wanted the children to listen and actively use their imaginations envisioning the story, so the illustrations never fully show the characters, but rather set the scene so the kids can figure out the rest. Cat holds a masters degree in communication for which she researched family values for her final thesis. Based in Florida and Vermont (when she can get there), Cat continues to evolve the Brown Bag Bedtime Books world into the very special place she dreamed of creating.Cat Sauer is the author of 'What's a Jaybird to Do?' with ISBN 9780970446084 and ISBN 097044608X.
