Understanding Bonsai

Pieter Loubser is a dentist by profession. He is married to Magriet and they have three children that are all in different professions. He has been chairperson of the local bonsai club for most of its existence. Pieter has been growing bonsai since 1982. He has given talks to gardening clubs, Rotary, other bonsai clubs and regional associations throughout South Africa. He has also given demonstrations at international conventions in South Africa. Pieter has written many articles on bonsai subjects and these have been published in bonsai journals over the world. He had his first book published in 1993 in English and Afrikaans. Pieter lives in Klerksdorp in the North-West province in South Africa.
