Motorists did not have to worry about who was behind the wheel of the massive vehicles from which we all receive most of our goods. Today is a much different time. The trucking industry is a good barometer of society in general, which is on a downward spiral. Whereas some of the issues of our declining society can be ignored for the time being, safety on our highways cannot. We can no longer bury our heads in the sand, ignoring the very real problems in trucking because trucking effects us all.
