Supporting Lifelong Learning, Volume II: Organising Learning examines the ways in which learning is organised in a diverse range of lifelong learning environments. The contributors recognise that formal institutions are no longer seen as the sole providers of education and consider the learning opportunities that are found in the workplace, social networks and the community. They examine some of the challenges which arise from placing learning at the centre of these diverse settings, and the implications for those supporting learning within them. This book highlights the collaborative nature of lifelong learning and argues that if it is to reach its full potential, fundamental changes must be made to existing practices.
