In this book, the author sums up 25 years of investigations in the area of materials and strength of structures. The main problem is that the life of aircraft structures must be estimated under variable temperature. Standard research techniques were not successful. The answer was found in books on physics. All available data from material tests were revised from the standpoint of physical kinetics. nce creep analysis was made, the life evaluation of aircraft structural components under cyclic synchronous loading and heating was successful. RheoLogical models of creep made it possible to solve the problem of tensile, creep and creep-rupture and thermo cyclic strength. Further investigations of the fatigue and an elasticity of metals and alloys involved the discovery of new models describing hysteresis loops and providing a means for fatigue life prediction under random loading and temperature variations. Regardless of the type of strength problem, the kinetic onset of fracture leads to a successful result.
