This effort by the three authors is meant to serve as a tribute to Robert Benchley and H.Allen Smith whose type of literature has been lost in the present era of raunchy TV and violent movies. The story tries to use humor when writing a parody of some of the wonderful movies of the past. The movies are well known and most were award winners and seen by millions of movie goers seeking entertainment away from home with family and friends instead of graphic sex. It is always a difficult thing to make fun of things that were considered to be completely enjoyable in their original form. However, it is well to remember that making fun of something can also be enjoyable if it is offered without malice. You will recognize and will probably have seen the movies in parody here. The plots have been altered considerably in an honest effort to use humor in this parody of the greatest movies of the past to offset some of the disgraceful ones being offered in the current era of what is falsely called entertainment.Hummingbird, Ernest is the author of 'Play It Again, Samuel A Tale Of Twice Told Tales To Be Told Again And Again', published 2004 under ISBN 9781592990801 and ISBN 1592990800.
