Joyce and Jim Lavene have written forty novels together, including the award winning Sharyn Howard mystery series. They also write short stories, non-fiction articles, and teach writing workshops. When they?re not writing, they spend time on other pursuits; sculpting, computers, and photography. They have three children, two grandchildren, and live just outside Charlotte, North Carolina.
