Michael Abbey Michael S. Abbey is a seasoned writer in the Oracle Press series, this being his tenth work. Michael is past director of conferences for the IOUG-Americas, orchestrating the delivery of its successful user-driven event IOUG-A Live! from 1997 until 2000. He has presented at conferences in Europe and North America, and is a member of the faculty for the IOUG-A's University Master Class series. Michael has been working exclusively with Oracle's technology since the 1980s, having experienced the product all the way from desktop to large mainframes.
