As has often happened in his life, special people have been the catalyst in directing Walter's art career. When he was five a favorite uncle who was an accomplished artist handed Walter an artist's brush for the first time. Walter's mother was an avid story teller. Her stories always had a message to explore your world and encouraged you to seek your dreams. Imagination was the key that let Walter's art expand.Walter started his career in the art field doing graphic and commercial design for his own company in New York. His art remained a continuous avocation and has become a successful venture for him from commissioned pieces to a weekly cartoon in a local newspaper.Writing and illustrating children's stories has been a life long dream of Walter's, and as is common in his life he went after his dream.
