Library of Alexandria

One of Kelly Trumble's fondest childhood memories is of her trips to the Norman, Oklahoma, public library, where each week she read the same book: Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Eventually she looked around and realized that her library had other books, too. To this day she is still discovering the treasures a library can offer. She lives in Kirkland, Washington, where she has studied library technology, volunteers at an animal shelter, and is finally learning to play the piano Robina MacIntyre Marshall has always loved books and has wanted to illustrate one for as long as she can remember. When she was ten, she traveled through Europe for a year with her parents, and it was there, as she heard the stories about each place they visited, that she discovered her love of history -- especially ancient history and mythology. Ms. Marshall is a graduate of Cornell University and received her MFA from Vermont College.
