The papers in this collection grew out of discussions held from April to July 2002. The discussions included top regional & military experts, former inspectors in Iraq, & individuals with intimate knowledge of the diplomatic situation at the UN. They hold a range of views on how to ensure that Iraq complies with its commitment to eliminate its weapons of mass destruction. Not all of the participants agree with all the views expressed in these papers, but the majority agree that the new approach presented here is worthy of serious consideration & public debate.
