Intersection : Journal of the Guild for Psychological Studies

This Journal is the first volume of an annual series featuring an intersection of articles on religion, psychology, mythology, the arts, & the environment. Titles of articles include: "A Changing God Image"; "Jesus: Myth & History"; "Out of Darkness"; "Drama & Religious Dialogue"; "Earth Grows of Such Care". The Guild for Psychological Studies, for over 50 years, has offered seminars in self-realization as an integral part of the purposiveness of the world. The major cultural model is grounded in the teachings of Jesus, not from a Christian point of view. A major source for understanding is C.G. Jung's psychology. These are supplemented by a variety of texts & art forms treated as avenues to reach deeper levels of being. The Journal extends the seminar model by examining particular issues & questions at a greater depth than can be achieved within the limits of the seminar setting. The Journal encourages dialogue with its readers by including abstracts of works in progress & inviting reader response. The poetry of Joan Gibbons is also included.
