Transcript of the 30 hearings held by the President¹s Commission on Immigration and Naturalization in Autumn 1952 in 11 cities scattered across the country: New York, Boston, Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, St. Paul, St. Louis, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Washington, DC. These hearing were scheduled as a means of obtaining some appraisal of representative and responsible views on this subject. All shades of opinion and points of views were sought and heard.
