GRAVITATIONAL FORCE OF THE SUN, derived from observations, is given as the product of the acceleration & the area of a circle with radius equal to semimajor axis of revolution. This quantity is constant for all the planets, asteroids & artificial satellites; & is independent of the mass of the attracted body. It is shown that the sequential mean distances of the planets from the center of the sun follow an exponential law, concluding that gravitation is quantized. New explanation & equation for eccentricity is presented. All celestial phenomena are explained by classical physics. English translation of Foucault's papers in the Appendix.
