Gamma 2001 Gamma-Ray Astrophysics 2001

The Gamma-Ray Astrophysics 2001 Symposium offered the opportunity for participants to discuss important results from the nine years of operations of the Compton Gamma-Ray Observatory (CGRO), which ceased operations on June 4, 2000. Discussions also included new results from current missions such as HETE-II, Chandra, and XMM-Newton.
