WACV 2005 presents application-oriented work across a broad spectrum. Computer Vision is increasingly important in real world systems for commercial, industrial and military applications. Computer Vision related technologies are migrating from academic institutions to industrial laboratories, and onward into deployable systems. This workshop brings together an international cadre of academic, industrial, and government researchers, and companies applying vision techniques. MOTION 2005 is a continuation of series of workshops dedicated to motion analysis, reflecting the growing number of challenges and interesting problems in this field within the computer vision community. Video analysis plays an important role in a vast range of applications, including entertainment, capturing collective memory, monitoring, scientific experiments, and many others.
