Michael Miller has been a musician since grade school and attended the prestigious jazz studies program at the Indiana University School of Music. A former percussion instructor and working drummer, he is also an accomplished composer and arranger. He is the author of more than 30 computer, music, and business books including The Complete Idiot's GuideR to Playing Drums. Michael Miller is a popular author of numerous how-to books. He is known for his casual, easy-to-read writing style and his practical, real-world advice-as well as his ability to explain a wide variety of topics to an everyday audience. Mr. Miller began arranging and composing vocal and instrumental music for various groups when he was just 14.
