Arthur Hippler serves as the Director of the Office of Justice and Peace for the Diocese of La Crosse, a position he has held since January 2000. He also serves as an Visiting Professor for the Institute of Pastoral Studies of Ave Maria University. Dr. Hippler received his Ph.D. in philosophy from Boston College in 1993, and has taught both at the high school and college level. He writes a weekly column on Catholic social teaching for The Wanderer, and a bi-weekly column for the diocesan newspaper.
