Challenges of Globalization: Rethinking Nature, Culture, and Freedom

This volume contains eleven essays dealing with the question of how to face the current challenges of globalization. These essays examine topics ranging from global justice, international law, and human rights to ecoterrorism, cultural relativism, and the challenges of autonomy. Many of the essays included here discuss how a comprehensive ethical action is necessary in order to overcome repressive social, political, and cultural obstacles. Most of the essays in this volume were selected from the 2005 Sixth World Congress of the ISUD (International Society for Universal Dialogue) held in Helsinki, Finland. The volume is introduced by Steven V.
