Cain

While suffering "ministerial burnout," John Wesley Cain, an earthy, theologically unconventional Vietnam veteran and church pastor, deals with the possible loss of his position, problems with his son and those of a troubled teen-aged musician, and his drunken Vietnam-vet father, hypocritical church members, and his own frustrations, shortcomings, and ambitions.
