I took U.S History my freshman year of college and learned more about the subject than I did in high school & understood it better

Nothing. The information was all correct and enough for someone to understand the subject, especially since we had two other books for this class. The book is useful & helpul.

I was taking a History 110 class at college. We were using it as an addition to the "Give Me Liberty!" book.

That history can actually be interesting. Instead of dully going on about history in a monotone droll, they actually brought the diaries and letters and things of that nature directly to you and made it much more fascinating.

I like that it had all documents and journal entries, etc. It was more fun to read than a textbook and you got more personal facts than just reading a textbook.

Personal accounts from Gabriel's Rebellion because you read journal entries and newspaper articles from that time period instead of just hearing it from a historian who interpreted the information in his own way.

Not much as I did not read a lot of it. I did like the concept of it: how we got to see the primary sources and firsthand accounts of history.

It helped a little bit. Most of it was very hard to read because it was primary sources from the past. The vocabulary was different back then so it made it more difficult to understand.
