It taught me about morals and different ethical views.
This book was a very detailed and in-depth explanation of psysiology and provided immense, colorful, pictoral detail of the body's anatomy.read more
I was enrolled in a collegiate-level anayomy and physiology class that was a prerequisite for the nursing program here at Davidson County Community College.
Very easy to understand. Great pictures of the body systems and easy to follow with class. I would recommend this book.read more
This is a great book for both A & P 1 and 2 class. Very good book.
I found this book very helpful in every way. I did not find any unhelpful parts of the book it was greatread more
I have had no previous books on this subject matter
There are many interesting things to learn in this book. :) I learned a lot from it.read more
I think I would put some more clinical examples in.. stuff that people can relate to in real life.
I would have the book be a little more detailed than the slides that go with it. I barely used teh book because I never got more details form it. My prfoessor used slides that were exactly the same as what was in the book. There was no added value of having the book.read more
None. I used it maybe two times throughout the semester.
Anatomy class was very rigorous. It required a lot of time and studying. It talked about cells and atoms. It also talked about the full body anatomy.read more
It gave me better visuals. The book offered a great amount of visuals so that we could actually see what we were talking about which seemed to help not only me but a majority of my classmates.
I learned a lot interesting things from this book. I however, did find it dry and hard to read at times.read more
This class was about learning the body systems. I would have found it more interesting if it had more of an application section.
This has got to be the worst layout for a textbook. Our tests are still text based which means visual learning with predominantly pictures is a huge detriment.read more
Anatomy and Physiology I Primary focus was fo those going into medical fields.
The book should explain more in laymen's terms. Most things are a bit difficult to understand unless you have already had an introductory course to medical terminology.read more
This is book is very detailed which is good. It also has a lot of good illustrations. It just needs to be a explained a little better. The terminology should be explained a little better.
More visual aids. Some more charts and breakdown of certain concepts would help as well.read more
I learned several different anatomy one concepts. This book was very great and helpful with that.
I honestly did not have a single problem with this text. I could go through the chapters and quiz myself after reading each small section and walk away confident that I understood the material better than when I sat through the professors lecture.read more
I truly enjoyed learning about the way that a neuron conducts an action potential. I am the type of person that needs to understand something thoroughly, not just what is happening but why. and between the very clear visuals and small concise sections of texts this book lays out every step and reason as well as makes connecting the anatomy and physiology of everything simple and fun.
