Math is the primary subject of this book. It was nearly perfect.

it was all very helpful. I didn't find anything wrong with the book whatsoever.

The mortgage lessons were least helpful because I have already purchased a home and thoroughly understand the process and computation of a mortgage.

Most features of this book are useful in day to day activities. This information should be taught to high school kids so they can be ready for the nuances of real life.

College Math 108 ... it was learning about statistics and algebra and a lot of other things

the primary subject was to learn how to understand mathematics.. the book was effective I just wish it gave better examples.

It gave examples you would use in real life. For example budgeting, student loans, mortgages, and percents.

Step-by-step instructions which were clear and helped you get to the answer.

This was my first college mathematics class as a freshman. Comparing it to the textbooks I used in high school, I would say that it was a useful text. The exercises went with the chapters and helped me to understand concepts I struggled with. While we didn't use this text in class and my professor taught from her own version of notes, she told us to use it to better understand subjects. Overall, I would use this text again.

The primary subject of this book is mathematics. This book was effective in covering the subject, even if we didn't use it in my class. I mostly used it outside of class for studying on my own.

Book did what it said it would, professor used it like a bible. The section on taxes- it would be nice to see a break down that actually shows/tells/helps you understand how to file your taxes.

I can not answer this... I have not read other math text books.

I never scored highly in math but I thoroughly enjoyed this book as it helped me view mathematics in a new way

I really enjoyed the second part of part 1 it made me think twice about my answers

I learned that the only thing that this book is good for is the problems that you have to do in class. And for the conversion charts. If you have to use this book for class. Make sure you buy it used and not new. the 181.00 dollars it cost is not worth it. Trust me I know from personal experience.

NOTHING!!! Ok the conversion tables were helpful but I could found those on Labplus homework site.

This book was great because I was able to understand what I was doing and that was important to me because I was just returning to school after 20 years

The most important and helpful part of the book was the step by step instructions it gave you which is a good part of the book because it also became a reference for me

the features of this book include the computer disc that is a complement to this subject. I believe it was reasonably helpful for my studies.

I was written in a way that after returning to a subject I haven't used in several years, was a refresher and also, elementary enough to understand.
