Associate Degree Nursing program. Used along with Medical-Surgical text. Used for research
Although this book does cover a tremendous amount of information I found it sometimes too wordy in explaining conditions for the purpose of nursing. I gave it 3 stars because the book does have great pictures and does make a good reference at times. I believe that the explanation could be a bit simpler for each condition then explained in this text.read more

Easy to understand the disease process makes understanding treatment so much easier
I really enjoyed this book. However, it was on an accelerated level that required reading it with a dictionary. I wish that there was a glossary that gave a brief description of the key terms. I also wish that the web page that comes with the book offered more visual tools and practice questions. This would allow us to critically think and allow us to see what we have learned from the reading.read more

I would probably keep everything the same because I loved the layout and flow of the book. If I HAD to choose, maybe I would change some of the charts and graphics.
