I never knew how to write a good argument in an essay. This informed me how to write a persuasive essay in a classic and modern way without without too pushy.
I would make it slightly cheaper, because the price seems to be a little steep for the content provided.read more
It was EXTREMELY in depth, and showed definitions of commonly used phrases or names in the governmental structure. It also helped to prepare me for all of the tests in my course.
While this book was a great overview for students that lack skill in writing or need to brush up on their high school English, the amount of essays in this text are completely unnecessary. Through my English 101 course I only ended up reading about a quarter of the book and did not even discuss half of those in the course.read more
The least helpful part for me was the repetition of the high school level rules of writing. I know this may be helpful for people who struggled with English, but as a college sophomore who was a straight-A English student in high school I found it boring.
