Summary: Kevin Young's first book, Most Way Home, won the Zacharis First Book Award from Ploughshares, and was selected by Lucille Clifton for the National Poetry Series. Young recently edited Giant Steps: The New Generation of African American Writers, an anthology of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction.
