This class was for anthropology 1000, it was an online class 8 weeks only. So it was a pretty fast class and if you didn't pay attention, do your readings or keep up with the pace it would be very simple for you to fall behind and then you're pretty much stuck. This book helped me a great amount understand the class and learn more in general that I never learned before. I really enjoyed this class more than I thought i would.

I think there should be a hard cover of this book. I feel the cover was so thin ( like paper) and it was easy to get bends in the end and little marks. If it was hard cover I think the book would hold up better!

I thought this book was completely awful and I did most of my learning online

The sentences in the book are very choppy and there are so many grammar errors that it just started driving me insane. It also was not very clear. If these points were corrected in future additions, it might be an alright book.

It was laid out much better. It was easy to find information as opposed to other books I've read.

It taught me to avoid ethnocentrism. It was an interesting read and gave me a different perspective on things.

Introduction to Anthropology. Highly effective. It helped outline every basic step towards the understanding of Anthropology.

In was an introductory class that was formatted online. I loved using the book beyond just the lectures because it was packed with information.

Maybe if they updated it. I know it is an anthropology book and holds a lot of history, but it seems a little dated when you are reading it. But nevertheless it is still a good book. It's just not an outstanding read and seems dull.

Like I said before I would update it and give it a fresh look as well as make it more interesting for students to read. It is a good book but the layout and content could be imroved.
