    I feel like the book could better utilize graphics to convey some of the concepts.

    The pictures, diagrams, and charts were large and very helpful. Overall the book was interesting and easy to understand, but at the same time presenting lots of new information that I was previously not familiar with.

    Ecology. The book was more of a companion text to the class with background information, while in class discussion focused on specific examples of ecological principles.
