The primary subject of this book is Public Speaking. It is very effective covering the topic. The book gives examples of modern day examples of public speakers and how they overcome speaking in public. Also gives great examples and outlines for writing various speeches.
This book was very helpful compared to the other books we used in class. It was more through and to the point than other books.read more
If i could change one thing about the book it would be to condense some of the information. Some chapters were unnecessarily long.
This book was great and I loved speech class. It got rid of the jitters I got when talking in public. It helps you brush up on so much. From learning the different kinds of speeches you give to how you change your voice and vocabulary to engage the audience. It was a good class and a great book .read more

The most useful thing in this book is the example speaches.
We reviewed the book I class but not thoroughly. We used it and I studied it for finals. But other than that I can't say I liked or disliked it. The book was helpful to an extent but for that particular class we did not use it much. Speaking is about simply talking and being clear not reading a book.read more
The key words or vocabulary were very helpful. It helped me when studying for the midterm and finals but outside of class I did not really read it. It was in good shape and I took care of the book but I did not use it for other than just class.
