Minister Melissa Childs was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1960. Through a life of trials, she came to the realization that there had to be something she wasn’t doing or didn’t understand in living a Christian life. In 1997, she gave her life to God, and He revealed to her the battle within herself. It’s the battle of self and spirit. She realized that we all have the same battle, just different circumstances and different people. God wants us all to become conquerors of our own battles, and He wants to show us and help us to win. He wants us to recognize each of our battles and the participants.
