Savages

Summary: Savages is an adventure story of an unlikely hero (Edward Bruce) who set out to take the Christian gospel to some American Indians in the Michigan wilderness in the time of the American Revolution. It's a story of survival, determination, hope, and love. The setting began and ended in Michigan. It includes, however, a journey that took Edward halfway around the world and back. Edward's primary enemy in this story is ...a demon with a mission to prevent Edward's ministry to "the people." The battle with the demon is an elongated adventure that includes wolves, slavers, pirates, storms at sea, and the prejudice of people against others. Edward began the adventure with a definite understanding of those who were and were not savages. That understanding, however, changed as his experiences on this adventure unfolded. [read more]
