    Determining which research method fit the paper or proposal the best. Book was well written, easy to understand, and a wealth of knowledge for the beginning researcher.

    Basically how to formulate the proper research, what to ask, what outcomes I should expect, and then how to manipulate the data.

    I used this book for theory and it is a little rough to read if you're not already educated. I didn't use it long, so I didn't learn much.

    This book is a theory book so knowing the difference between qualitative and quantitive is not really something I take interest in.

    Coming from a background in Psychology, I have had a lot of research classes. I appreciated this book for its overall approach. This book did a very good job explaining mixed method approaches to research where I have been more limited to quantitative approaches in the past.

    The book was really key for the course material . It set the foundations of Qualitative and quantitative research that many students just simply do not understand. While the book was written to a high level, it assumed that the learner did not know a great deal about research.
